Tropos OPI · Orbient Platform Intelligence
Tropos OPI is a One Health intelligence platform — fusing continuous environmental sensing, community disease surveillance, vector-borne and zoonotic risk signals, and domain-specific AI into a single architecture built to predict health risk before it becomes harm — designed for clinical, pharmaceutical, agricultural, maritime, and consumer settings.
The platform
Most environmental monitoring platforms are built for a single use case — a sensor for air quality, a dashboard for HVAC compliance, a wastewater feed for public health.
Tropos OPI is different. It is a single One Health intelligence architecture — continuous sensing infrastructure, a multi-domain AI fusion engine, and a compliance and governance layer — designed to deploy across every regulated environment that cares about what air, water, community burden, and ecological signals mean for the people inside.
The same architecture that will carry environmental exposure risk into regulated clinical use already powers Disease Weather's real-time pollen, air quality, and disease surveillance for consumers. Tropos Discovery — the platform's internal signal incubator — surfaces emerging risk patterns across vector-borne disease, zoonotic spillover, wildfire toxin exposure, and coastal water risk, each a candidate for a future product vertical.

Vertical products
Each vertical is Tropos OPI configured for a specific regulated environment — its signals, its standards, its buyers. Verticals below are in development or planned.
Consumer & developer layer
Disease Weather is the public-facing layer of the Orbient platform and a One Health consumer intelligence product. Free, real-time environmental health conditions for any US location — air quality, pollen, community disease burden, and environmental conditions fused into a single plain-English score. In production since April 2026, with users across ten countries and no paid acquisition to date.
Disease Weather+ is the premium tier — adding a lifestyle survey, a personal environmental sensitivity profile, and a personalized fourth domain that adjusts the Environmental Health Index to your individual environmental vulnerability. Built for people managing respiratory sensitivity or heightened environmental vulnerability — and for anyone who wants their environment translated into personal, plain-English risk.
